NEW ORLEANS NOTES. The following jockeys have notified the Crescent City Jockey Club they will bB on hand the opening day, November 27, Thanksgiving Day : " From the east Odom, Rice, Cochran, Minder, " Creamer, Mclntyre, Brennan. From Chicago Buchanan, W. Waldo, Bobbins, J. Walsh. J. Baker, C. Bonner, W. Hicks, Wilker-son, Graham, Morpor, Wainwright. From Latonia J. Winkfleld, J. Mathews, R. Williams, Helgesen, Pieratt, J. Daly, D. Gilmore, Scully, C.Kelly, H.Booker, H. Wilson. Lindsey, Preston, Alarie, Irven. The Bennett, Schorr and Tichenor stables will be shipped from Memphis to New Orleans, Corrigans and S. S. Browns from Louisville. A new betting ring, paddock and club house have been built, while the grandstand has been enlarged. The coming winter meeting promises to far surpass any that has ever been held in the south. The stakes close November 15.
