Princess Julien was off flying with the others strung out. She was never in trouble and had much to spare at the finsh. Sim W. was hustled along all the way and was under a hard drive at the end to stall off Altona. The latter came from away back and finished on the outside and ran a winning race. Flaneur tired. Tancred showed the most early speed, but was made too much use of in the first half and tired when the 9 pinch came. Dr. Hagyard did not run his race. He was off well and free from interference. Mr. Far-num ran his race. Special Tax seems to have lost her good form of two months back. Miss Eod, show, 2 to 1. Tancred, show, 8 to 5. Bristol was 1! crowded in next the fonce at the turn onto the flat after taking the fifth jump and was pulled up. Smyrna showed the most early li speed, but tired when put to a drive. Snare was outrun when rounding the far turn, but came again at at the end. Miss Gould tired and quit when called on.
