LOOAX TURF GOSSIP. In Bond, which finished third in the first race, was disqualified for his repeated interference with Marco in the last sixteenth and third money given to Hickory Corners. The interference was purely accidental, but at the same time was palpable and left the judges no alternative but to set the colt back. The colt, in his trials this summer, thowed a great flight of speed, but in his races appeared to be fainthearted. Many ownors, who have watched the horse, attribute the failure to run well to the loss of his sight in one eye. Yosterday, by permission of the judges, he was raced in blinkers and ran by far the best race of his career. Tillo, which started in the last race, was jthe recipient of heavy backing, forcing his odds of 40 to 1 at the opening down to 20 to 1 at post time. The Suburban winner of 189S flattered his backers by leading the field for nearly seven-eighths, but in the last sixteenth faltered slightly and failed by a narrow margin to finish in the money. Durnell and Herz shipped to New Orleans-yesterday the horses McChesney, Lucien Appleby, Nitrate, The Lady, Prince of Endurance, Golden Rule, Irving Mayor and My Surprise. The remainder of their strong stablo was shipped to the Crescent City at the close of the Worth meeting. Mr. Guernsyf which was a starter in the opening race, while going to the post, ran away a mile at top speed. The field was started without him. Jockey T.
