Won easily; Fecond handily. Angelo was much the best, coming away from the field easily in the last eighth and won as his rider pleased. Will Sherry closed up ground fast in the last quarter and finished strongly. In Bond showed sudden improve-3 ment. He interfered considerably with Marco just after turning for home for which he was disquali- fled, Hickory Corners being placed third. The latter tired slightly in the closing strides. The latter came with a rush at the end, but could no qnite sret up. Mayor Johnson tired just a shade in the closing strides, but ran to his best form. It was strictly a three horse race throughout. The latter showed much speed, but tired fast in the closing strides. The Caxton fell away beaten when turning for home. Banish ran well for five furloDgs.
