Monarka did not appear to have suffered to any great extent by the mishap, for she was playful and healthy as ever yesterday morning. Allan-a-Dale is showing steady improvement, his temperature having receded four points during the day and he ate with apparent relish. Owner Ezell stated yesterday that Flying Torpedo had pulled up slightly lame in his last start and in consequence he had turned him out for the remainder of the season. Flying Torpedo, carrying 110 pounds, won the Wheeler Handicap from a good field last year. Sid Silver and Floral Wreath, which started in the second race, although belonging to different owners were ordered coupled on account of both being trained by L. Ezell. The judges at Washington Park after the closing race announced that jockeys Wonderly, Henry, Adkins and Treanor, who had been indefinitely suspended by them, were again in good standing. Jockey Treanor had his suspension removed on the plea that he wanted to go to St. Louis to ride. Jockey T.
