Eets on the horse named stood and your wager lost. F. H. R., Chicago. Bud Embry won his first race at Newport, May 23, 1901. A. J. C, Chicago. The two horses were coupled through in the betting and we have no record of any separate betting. H. , Ottawa, 111. When a horse is "out" for place or show, as bet on, there is no action and the bettor is entitled to his money back.
