ASCOT PARK FORM CHART CONTINUED. M Went to post at 2:02. At post 2 minutes. Start good. Won easily; second handily. Labor was much the best. Knapp waited with him, saving ground all the way and, coming I through on the inside near the last furlong post, won going away. Mac Ana got away flat- footed and Buxton gave him a poor ride, Hopping about in the saddle all the way. Egg 1 Nogg ran to his form. Pirato can be marked for early action. He showed a high turn of I speed, but tired and was short. Mainspring will improve by this race. Frierliene showed I early speed. I Labor, show, out. Mac Ana, show, 1 to 2. Egg Nogg, show, 6 to 5. Won easily; second drivingB Knapp kept Chub under restraint, allowing Dr. Shorb and Fortunatus to set the pace, buH moved up gradually and by the time they were straightened for home had the field in diffiH culties. From there on it was only a canter for him. Fortunatus had no mishasp unleH that it was that Walsh made too much early use of him. He stood a hard drive Jfor a quarH ter of a mile gamely, outstaying Dr. Shorb. The latter is a fairly good horse himself, but grew leg weary and faltered badly in the last sixteenth. Winner B. c, by Emperor of Norfolk Atalanta II. trained by L. Tucker. -m Went to post at 3:07. At post 6 minutes. Start good. Won handily; second driving. Cruzados has seemingly regained his brilliant two-year-old form. Booker gave him a per- feet ride, taking his time, but keeping well within striking distance all the way. He had toB ride him hard in the last sixteenth, but was going away at the end. Golden Rule did hisl best and ran a good race, but does not like this track. It cups from him and he tired badly.1 Ocean Dream ran a very good race, closed up a big gap and stood a hard drive, but wafl swerving at the end. Headwater showed a flash of his old speed and his race was a gooul one. Bragg was always outrun. Cruzados, show, 7 to 10. Ocean Dream, show, out. -FIFTH RACE 5 1-2 Furlongs. Purse 00. All Ages. Won easily; second drivinH Madam Bishop was best and showed the most speed, stood off Wager and Huapala in tiH and was best at all stages of the race. Huapala showed improved form and had early speH but dropped back and then came on gamely in the last furlong. Wager showed a good tuB of speed and seemed the winner when straightened away for home, but tired badly. MiraclBVJ II., outrun in the first half, was gaining fast at the end. Won driving; second easily. Sir Christopher scored a lucky win and was given the best ride. Booker took him to theH front at once, but saved him all he could, turned close and put up a strong finish. SalHeaB Goodwin was much the best, but McClees was of no assistance to her, letting go her headS when he went to the whip in the stretch run. She is a fair mare and is good now. Frankaa Pearce, badly outrun in the first five furlongs, finished with a rush. Canejo showed speed,H but may be stale. The same can be said of James J. Corbett. Sharpless was simply outH for work and can do much better. Sir Christopher, show, out. Sallie Goodwin, show. 2 to 5. Frank Pearce. show, a to TB
