Sweet Klttv took the lead on the stretch turn and appeared the winner in the stretch, but failed right at the end. "Esther B. closed a gap from a poor sendorr arid was an easy going third. Major Tenny, away very badly, closed a tremendous gap and finished like a cyclone. Jackfull maintained a close early pursuit of the leaders for seven furlongs and was tiring at the end. Water Cure again failed to stay after a good display of early speed. Rey Dare went a fast seven furlongs and Is about due. Adirondack, outclassed here, is in good form. Arrah Gowan dropped out after showing moderate speed for half the journey and stripped sore. Fireball forced a terrific pace to the last furlong before he succumbed and tireil badly in the closing drive. Martinmas dropped quickly to the rear, but finished with a belated stretch run and going like a cyclone. Salable probably favors softer going, kept well up for a half mile and quit badlv.
