BON MOT NOT DISQUALIFIED. New Orleans, La., February C. The wires were kept busy here today with inquiries from northern points as to whether Bon Mot had been disqualified in the last race at City lark yesterday. Complaint of foul was made against Bon Mot by Perrett, the rider of Daring, the second horse, and by Finn, the rider of Granada, which finished third. Bon Mot crowded these two horses slightly in the stretch, but in the opinion of the judges not to an extent to warrant a disqualification. The charts gave the correct placing, but in some manner, due possibly to the excitement of the claims of foul and the hurry in getting away from the track, a story found lis way into the reports to many, if not nil, of the daily papers not publishing charts that Bon Mot had been disqualified.
