NOTES OF THE TURF. J. B. Cushing now has Hans Wagner at Oakland. Jockey Johnny ReitT is to be married to Miss Den-man in France today. Red Light is back in the stable of S. M. Williams. He claimed him for 10 at Oakland Tuesday. No one lias leased the Overland track as yet. The outlook for a meeting at Denver this year is not bright. Jockey E. Walsh is not riding lieeause of lameness as the result of road work in the effort to keep down his weight. Those brackets Vagabond got in the second race at Crescent Park yesterday were his first. It was his twelfth start. He was in the money twice last year, his earnings being 73. The Family Club Handicap will be one of the features at Oakland Saturday. The Guust Stakes will be another. Both have ,500 added. To the winner of the handicap, the Family Club will present a silver cup. The Hamilton Jockey Club has announced three stakes, to be decided at its spring meeting, June 5 to 10 the Tuckett Selling Stakes, ,000, for three-year-olds and over, at one ond one-sixteenth miles; the Royal Hotel Stakes, , for two-year-olds, five furlongs, and the Spring Brewery Stakes, ,000. a handicap for three-year-olds and over, at one mile. t
