AND THE ROOM IS STILL OPEN. There are some people in Newport, Ivy., who arc opposed to the operation of the poolroom In Hubers Garden, but their efforts to close it have been unsuccessful. Aldcrmau Elmer asked the Circuit Court for an injunction last Monday. The poolroom people demurred on the ground that the plaintiff was not a property owner or resident in the district where the poolroom is located. The application for the injunction was denied.
