Golden Sunrise steadily improved his position into a fast going second. Swift Queen held a forward position in the early running, but tired in the closing drive. Jarretiere dOr finished well and is very good, but of moderate caliber. Bose Eley was beaten off at the end and ran a bad race. Jerry Hunt got off flatfooted. Mimo succumbed in the last stride after having been excessively urged to dispose of the fast non-stayers. The Reprobate tired in the early running. Sol Liechtenstein maintained a position within striking distance from the start and outstayed The Reprobate for third place after a long closing drive. The latter tired after a strenuous early effort to hold the lead from the javprJtn..Micrcgor finished fnst. .nniL.so did Albemarle. Abe Meyer went up to the pacemaker at the half and shook her off after a sharp fnrlong brush, coming away with plenty in reserve in the stretch iu the best race of his career. Avonalis, under a pull, established a small early lead and succumbed unexpectedly at the end of five furlongs, then came on and saved- second place gamely. Queen Rec ran in forward contention throughout and outstayed Rotrou for third place after a long stretch drive. The latter made up considerable ground in the last half aud shows steady improvement. J. K. F. ran like a sulker from start to finish, dropped to the rear at a critical point ou the last turn and then liuishcd unexpectedly fast.- Lovey Mary showed good speed and stamina. May Holladay raced into a long lead and held her advantage with an amazing display of speed to the stretch, where she stood a long and game closing drive. Arrah Gowan just failed to get up at the end of a prominent and game race. Glenarvon was favored by the going, but was outclassed and is in his best form. Harbor, under a bad looking ride, held a rear position to the stretch, where he eame with a belated rush. Dusty Miller unexpectedly quit iu the stretch. Neva Lee, repeatedly Interfered witii and mishandled, ran a fairly good raee,;-but: nothing like her true form and it should be thrown out. Salable loomed up midway of the stretch, but tired. as if short. Judge retired after going a good half. Celeres showed -superior early, speed, was short, but looks line.
