Little Wanda began slowly, lint closed a Mg gap and finished with a rush. Dorothy M. ran in improved form and gamely outstayed Mamie K. The latter showed speed early, but ran disappointingly. Lena .1. was outrun in the first part of .the race, but improved in speed near the end and tool; second place easily. Pinstlekcr had no apparent mishaps and tired badly In the stretch when the pinch caine. Safeguard finished gamely. Scratched .012 Fargo. The latter was always a contender and finished gamely and would have won in another stride, although Hell put up a weak linisli on him. Peter Paul did his best and was hard ridden from the start. Tribes Hill was badly outrun in the first part of the race, but closed a big gap in the last half and finished fast. Water Pansy also closed up much ground from a slow beginning and finished with a rush. Fred Hornbeck tired in the final furlong. Ogontz showed the most early speed, but failed to stay.
