ANY TRACK SEEMS TO SUIT DEBAR. New Orleans, La., March 9. II. Shannons City Iark Derby candidate. Debar, added another to his list of victories at the meeting by capturing the sixth race, at one mile and an eighth, the condi-iions of which were framed to suit Derby eligibles. Only four started and Debar was asked to concede weight to Kercheval and Kargut. He disposed of his opponents in handy fashion after making the pace. Kercheval was making his first appearance in weeks and ran a smart race. This is a stoutly built colt one that looks like a race-horse. He will bear watching for the Derby. Debar showed today that lie can run in any sort of going. The track was drying out rapidly, hut was sticky and treacherous. Debar and Flying Rain Cloud were the only winning favorites this afternoon. Resness has secured the letting privileges for the Nashville meeting. The deal was closed a few days ago, the consideration being ,650 a day. Jockey Powers and Gaddy, who fell while riding in the steeplechase, escaped with a shaking up.
