Sister Peggy saved ground on the last turn and finished fast. Merry Leap Year showed speed, but was tiring at the end. Lady Maia ran poorly and evidently does not like a heavy track. Prestige outbroke the others and showed early speed, but tired in the last quarter Fugurtlia liegan slowly, but closed up much ground in the last quarter and finished fast. Percy Clark was always outrun after going the first furlong. Clifton Boy ran well. Lacaehe ran a poor race and can do better. Sir Andrew quit badly. Norwood Ohio raced Merry George into subjection in the first half, hut the effort told at the end and he had nothing left to stalfoff Cascines challenge. Jack Adams closed up with a rush after going Tery wide on the tnrn into the homestretch and just managed to get up in time to beat out Merry George. The latter showed great speed, but failed to stay. Ida Davis finished fast. Wild Irishman ran an exceedingly bad race, as also did Zinda, the latters effort being In glaring contrast to her last previous race. Del Carina was interfered with on the first turn, hut slipped through on the inside when entering the homestretch and finished fast. Flying Charcoal tired at the end after showing remarkable improvement in speed. Girard was on the inside in deep going all the way. Arthur Cummer showed speed, hut was buffeted about in the stretch run. Tryon ran a good three-quarters and fell back. Merry Acrobat was also unlucky, but closed a big gap and finished like a shot. Anna Smith showed the most early .speed, but was much used In racing with Suzanne Rocamora and tired in the last eighth. Little James was carried along at a clip that made him tire, but ran far below his true form. Clover Hampton ran a good race. Suzanne Rocamora showed speed, but failed to stay.
