INCREASE IN ENTRIES IS SHOWN. The full list of entries for stakes to be decided at Washington, including the Spring Handicap, the Nursery, the Oxnard Dinner Stakes, the Jesse Brown Cup, the Chevy Chase Steeplechase and other events, nearly all show an Increase in numbers over those of previous years. The Bennings Handicap received fifty-one entrips, one less than a year ago. The Oxnard Dinner Stakes has thirty, the Jesse Brown Cup thirty-five, the Chevy Chase thirteen, the Spring Handicap forty, and the Nursery no less than fifty. In view of this patronage the meeting bids fair to be more successful from a racing point of view than ever before.
