Dazz!e went to the frpat when the start came and quickly opened a big lead, which he kept and was well iu hand all of the last furlong. Bradleys Pet closed a big gap after going around on the outside and finished with a rush. Piller wore Del Carina down In the last quarter and outgamed her in the final drive. Siss Lee is raced inconsistently, was never irom!nent and her race should be thrown out. Del Carina finished well. Flying Charcoal showed speed, but tired. Safety Light was kept in reserve until rounding the far turn while going the second time around, then moved up 011 the . outside and was carried wide by Double and, after being bumped into at the eighth post by him, drew away in the last sixteenth and won in a canter. Double was hard ridden all through the last quarter to outlast Little Elkin. The latter ran well, but tired in the last furlong. The Trltier ran in improving form. Bisque ran a bad race. Lens had a lot or bad luck in the race, was unprepared when the start came and got away mixed up, was much used in rushing up to the leaders on the far turn and was ou the outside for the entire trip and covered more ground than any horse in the race. Blue D-iIe showed early speed and, holding on gamely, outlasted Chamblet when it came to the final drive. Edward A ilder tired as if short.
