WOODRUFF GOES TO NEW ORLEANS. Memphis, Tenn.. March 10. Secretary Harvey T. Woodruff, of the Western Jockey Club, spent today witli President S. R. Montgomery, of the New Memphis Jockey Club, and left tonight for New Orleans. It is said that the matter of dates for the spring meeting here was discussed and that there is a possibility that a special meeting of the Western Jockey Club stewards will be held in New Orleans to pass upon them. The dates wanted are from April 10 to May 9.
