NOTES OF THE TURF. J. L. McGimiis horses have arrived at Gravesend from Ascot Park. The stable of Clarence Merrltt will leave Grave-send today for Bennings. Hermis it at Jamaica, but he has done no work under saddle. He still gets his exercise to cart. "Father Bill" Daly will ship to Bennings next Tuesday. Warning lias shown him another fast move at Gravesend. Charles Reed is preparing to plant crops of tobacco and corn in the virgin soil of the pastures on famous Falrvlew farm in Tennessee. The stables have been converted into lofts and cotes for fancy pigeons.
