Sweet Favor showed much the most speed all the way and was never in danger. Simon Kent was always a keen contender, wore down Alihcrt in the stretch run and outstayed Trossachs in the final drive. Trossachs closed a gap mud tired at the end. Aliliert tired from his early efforts, but was probably in need of a race and is worth remembering. Bedell took Simplicity in the worst going most of the route. The whole field weut to the outside on the turn for home. Scratched !ll51 Henpecked, -PI. Beatrice II. dropped into third place early and stayed there to the finish. Susannah was piuched off at the start. Sanscrit nut fairly well. Corrected weights llelmuth, 107. Usury showed the most early speed and put up a game struggle for first honors. Shenandoah was outrun early but finished fast on the extreme outside and got up just in time to take third place. Pride of Woodstock was off poorly, but made up ground steadily and, after taking the lead in the stretch, tired and, swerving near the end, barely lasted long enough to beat out J. C. Clem. The latter got away slowly .and was Interfered with several times, but finished with a rush and was gaining at every stride. Young Reminder was taken the longest route, but fiuished fast and gamely. Phiiador showed the most speed, but tired. Perfect ran sluggishly. -Come on Sam tired after going a half mile. Uncle Henry had clear sailing, ran to his best form and finished gamely under punishment. Gleeman came fast, through the stretch. Light Note closed an Immense gap.
