Tom Mankiiis was close up from the start, went into the lead In the last furlong under a hard drive aud won with plenty in reserve. Arabo was coming fast at the end after behig outrun in the first part of the race. Fenian showed speed, but tired at the finish. Invincible set a fast pace for over a half, but tired when the final drive came. Elastic displayed but little speed with no apparent mishaps. II Dottore finished fast. Colloquy followed the winner closely, but tired and only bent out Lucy Marie in a hard drive. The latter ran a good race and hung on gamely. Celebration was a keen contender from start to finish. Louise Macfarlan caught Rolla tiring and beat him out for third place in the final stride. Guiding Star was skillfully handled and held in reserve until the right time came, then came on with a rush and won with something In reserve and well in hand after passing Lady Navarre and Lotus Eater at the eighth post. Lady Navarre ran a great race and had to lie driven to the top of. her speed to save second place. Lotus Eater was pinched off on the first turn and had to work his way through under difficulties, then finished fast and gaining. Ben Dodder showed much tlie most early speed, but began to quit before the turn for home was reached. James Reddick aud Disobedient ran well, but were never dangerous.
