Nevada took the longest route by running on the Outside all the way and, after covering the most ground, wore down Vagary at the linish. The latter ran well to the stretch, but tired when hard pressed. Pirabella showed early speed, but could not maintain it. Lady Lasca closed a big gap. Simplicity ran a dull race.
