KEENE SUING; NOT BEING SUED. Saratoga, N. Y., August S. The statement emanating from Lexington, Ky., that some mares owned by J. 0. Kcene were to be sold at sheriffs sale to satisfy a judgment for 75 against the well-known horseman brings forth a protest from the latter. Mr. Keene says that he has no interest In these horses except for their keep. They belong to Dr. Henry Cook of New York. Keene took care of tliem ami In turn passed thein over to Mr. Cassidy, the man who is suing for both his bill and Keenes.
