Sanfara, a speed marvel, was able to spreadeagie her opponents from a flatfootcd start, won cantering and was much the best. Zicnap, crowded back in the early running, moved up rapidly on the outside on the last turn and finished witli a belated rush. Wes, away very badly, got into prominent contention with a great display of speed and, after a strenuous effort to overhaul the leader, tired right at the end. Jack Dolan came fast from the rear and ran a good race. Old Faithful broke flying, but was forced out of position early, being unable to keep up, ran a bad race and is palpably unlit. Bill Phillips was pulling up at the start, closed a big gap and can do much better. Confederate made up a lot of ground lu the last quarter after getting away poorly and trailing for the first half. Won easily; second driving; third easily. Delcanta practically forced the pace throughout and came away decisively from Mackey Dwycrs challenge in the stretcli. The latter was palpably short, ran under a choking pull for a mile and three-quarters, but tired when called on, was given a very bad ride, could probably have won and is in grand form. The Doctor essayed to make the running and several times got into a brief lead, but quit in the last half mile. Vestment fell over the third jump and was lu the lead at the time. Rebo spreadoagied the others in an amazing display of speed and was never full extended. Eliony, nearly left, closed an immense gap into a fast going second. Water Dog was reserved under a pull for sis furlongs, which enabled him to save third place, although tiring fast. Croix dOr ran for-wardly throughout and, though being pinned in next to the rail, just lost out for third place under .1 weak finish. Bragg finished well under an inadequate ride. Bribery gave a good display of speed for seven furlongs, but failed to stay. Celeres, poorly handled, loomed up momentarily on the far turn, then retired and ran a bad race for him. Won In a canter; second driving: third the Fame Court Dress, from a Uying start, raced quickly into a long lead and, increasing her advantage as the race progressed, finally won pulling up. Kenuyetto, a grand looker, was in nearest pursuit of the leader to the stretch turn, where she lost ground but, coming again, got up for second place after a terrific drive and Is a coming good one. Mentha was also In forward and very game contention throughout, but tiring and boring out in the last couple of strides. Yankee Girl, away poorly, pocketed early and shut off, rushed through on the last turn and joined in the fight for a place, but tired right at the end and ran a grand race. Toddles got away slowly and was carried wide on the turns, but steadily im proved her position Info an easing up fifth. Glamor showed plenty of early speed, but failed to stay. Dollie Dollars was knocked to the rear in the first furlong and made upground moderately afterwards. Danoscara ran very green, getting away iioorly.
