Nervator, off In his stride, raced Reuben into subjection in the first half, but was driving to the limit at the end to stall off Oleasa. The latter, In keen contention, all the way, made a determined challenge at the head of the stretch, but faltered In the final strides- Lady Carol was well up all the way and ran a good race. Reuben showed speed, had no mishaps and tired badly in the stretch run. Perdition ran well. The last three were off badly and had no chance after the start. MInot was quickest in motion, raced Crip into subjection and had enough left to withstand the rush of Tanbark and won with plenty in reserve. Tanbark began slowly, but worked her way up on the outvhic and closed up fast In the stretch. Crip ran forwardly throughout and had no mishaps, but did hot run to his true form. Josephine E. showed a flash of speed, then quit. Moouviue had a rough journ?y. My Bessie also met wltii interference. Scratched 040273Pcdro, OS; C4010IIazel Patch, 109. Raindance began slowly, but closed up fast and made up a lot of ground in the stretch. Usury ran forwardly, but tired in the final run. Willowdene had no mishaps and was outrun all the way., Richard Jr. showed speed. Blue Coat ran behind Sheen until the striteh turn was reached, then raced him into subjection, but had to be put to a hard drive to stall off Oratorian. The latter was shuliled back after the start, went around and worked his way up on the outside and was pressing the winner closely at the finish. Left Guard, always well up, outran the others iu the run through the stretch. There was much crowding after the start, in which Orderly was the chief sufferer. He made up a lot of ground after getting clear. Jaletta and Sheen showed early speed, hut failed to stay. Crowshade was admirably handled and set the pace throughout, tired somewhat, but had enough left to stall off Boi Mot. Bon Mot trailed for the best part of the journey, then moved up fast in the final furlong and appeared to have the race at his mercy at the sixteenth post, but Schilling quit riding. Bugler raced into close contention, but was never good enough to get to the leaders. Raviana was used up in chasing the winner. Gaue ran behind the pacemaker for half the journey, came away on the far turn and had a commanding lead when turning into the stretch, but had to be ridden out to stall off Lutie Mac. The latter ran the liest race, was shmiied back at the start, had to go to the extreme outside, where she worked her way Into a commanding position on the turn for home and forced Gauze to a drive to maintain his advantage. Aestry-man ran a good race anil will do soon. Pentagon had no mishaps, was outrun all the way and can do much better. Little Mike ran well to the stretch and tired. Annie Berry ran fairly well.
