JOCKEY BRADYS HEROIC ACT. Brady, the American jockey, who recently went to England, saved the life of Otto Madden, the noted English jockey, at the Brighton course on Thursday. Brady had the mount on Marigold for the fourth race. On the way to the post Madden was walking bis mount alongside of Marigold when that horse suddenly seized Madden by the arm, dragged him from the saddle, sank hia teeth Into the riders throat and tried to shake hint as a terrier would a rat. Brady slipped from his saddle and fought the horse off the prostrate Madden. Marigold then turned savagely upon Brady, who sidestepped the onslaught, vaulted into the saddle, recovered bis reins and subdued tiie animal amid the hearty cheers Vf the spectators who but a moment before had been horror stricken.
