Judith Louise got away In a tangle and had to overcome some interference and joining the leaders on the stretch turn, wore: them down In the final drive ami won going away. Beautiful Mayo had no mishaps, was a sharp factor all the way and with more vigorous handling would have. won. Bitter Miss, away poorly, closed a big gap and finished with a rush. Dorinonde tired badly after showing the most speed for a half. Levia had a rough trip and was sharply Interfered with 6oon after the start. Phantom Light was taken wide all the way and ran a good race. Miss Officious was knocked out of any chance at the start and was practically left. Scratched 64524 Bye Bye II., 90. Colonel Bartlett was well handled and restrained for the first three-quarters and moving up fast through the stretch, wore down Daring and held him safe in the final drive. Daring forced a fast pace In the early stages, but was poorly handled in the final drive and tired slightly, but would have won with a better judged Tide. Azora, also poorly handled, came with a rush through the stretch and was wearing the leaders down fast at the end. Black Mantilla ran a good three-quarters before tiring. Dr. Heard showed Improved form and will soon do. Captain Bush ran a bad race and can do much better. Scratched 64545Sir Russell, 109; 64505Hector, 109. Overweights Colonel Bartlett, 3 pounds. d. Hannibal Bey began slowly, but steadily improved his position and going fast in the stretch under a hard drive, got up In the final stride. Harry Scott also trailed the leaders In the early stages and moved up with great speed after being fully straightened for the stretch drive and was unlucky to lose. Meadowbreeze, away well and lucky throughout, ran a good race and held on well in the final drive. Colonel Jim Douglas, well handled and saving ground throughout, stood a hard drive, but tired In the final strides under his heavy Impost. Hector tired badly after going a half. Platoon had scant chance with the Interference he suffered from at the start. Princess Orna acted badly at the post and kiclted Mclntyre on the. leg, forcing the substitution of Rice on Platoon and causing the long delay. Scratched 64505Don Domo, 109. Warner Griswell, much the best, was given a bad ride, but finished with a great rush. With any kind of good handling he would have won off by himself. Quagga helped to force the pace In the early stages and stood a hard drive well at the end. Plausible tired after going a good half and will improve. The latter ran to his best form, showed the most early speed, but going wide into the stretch cost him the race. Golden Mineral showed improvement and much speed, but tired after going three-quarters. Six Shooter ran poorly and seemed to sulk most of the way. Marshal Ney lacked speed and ran a dull race. Overweights Savoir Falre, -I pounds.
