Abington bad a rough journey and closed a big gap.. Mirabel ran in greatly improved form. Wabash Queen got off badly and ran a dull race. Prestige ran in forward contention and fought it out resolutely all through the stretch .with Reticent. Sheen showed speed, but tired from following the pace wt by the winner.
