Miss Lida. much tie best, suffered from interference soon after the start, but was lucky thereafter and. saving much ground on the last turn and lucky to get through a small opening, finished with a rush and was going away fast at the end. Bon Vivaut ran forwardiy from the start and tired slightly in the final drive. Bitter Anne closed a big gap and was going fast at the end. Montalban showed early speed, but quit badly after going a half. Lady Viinont, away slowly and going wide all the way, ran a good race and finished fast. The Clansman, away forwardiy and running to his best form, steadily improved his position and, wearing down Perdition in the final strides, won in a game finish. Perdition, away running and showing early speed, set a good pace and stayed well In the final drive. Jay Ward, after going well all the way, finished last and was gaining at the end. Kohnoflaw, away in a tangle and In a pocket most of the way, failed to get clear until straightened out for the stretch run, where he came fast. Cortez was in close quarters most of the way. San Primo showed the most speed from the start and, taking a long lead, seemed a certain winner, ut tired unexpectedly in the stretch as if short. Lightburn closed a big gap and ran a good race. Lustig, poorly handled and a sufferer from interference, bad scant chance and ran a good race. Angleta closed a big gap after suffering from crowding.
