ANOTHER DISQUALIFICATION AT WINDSOR. Jockey Moreland Rides Foul On Rubaiyat Owner Loses Purse and Jockey is Suspended, Detroit, Mich., September 12. As the meeting at Wludsor draws to n close the attendance improves, yet the sport today was most ordinary. Wholesale withdrawals Caused the fifth race to be declared off and one at seven furlongs was substituted. The af ternoon was enlivened by one disqualification and two boosts. Jockey Moreland on Rubaiyat, was guilty of roul riding In the fifth race and after winning the horse was disqualified, the purse going to Frank Collins. Moreland was suspended for the remainder of the meeting. Miss Leeds was hid up by Green B. Morris to ,000, 00 over the entered selling price and owner Burttschell allowed the fll?y to go. U. Z. DeArman was so Impressed with Sunny Brook when he won the closing race that lie bid up the gelding to ,000, the owner retaining him with a bid. DeArman was anxious to get Sunny Brook and afterwards bought him for ,000. Starters Dwyer and Holtman have been engaged on the California tracks- for the coming- winter. They will alternate at the. two tracks Dwyer opening the meeting at Oakland, and Holtman at Ascot. Fred Gerhardy, who is - to be clerk of the, scales at Toronto, left for that city this morning, Joe McLennan taking his place at Windsor. Edward Corrigan will ship his horses to Toronto tomorrow night.
