Sister Huffman, away well and clear of Interference, set a fast pace, raced Bon Vlvant into defeat before going a half and had enough in reserve to withstand the determined challenge of Light Wool. The latter showed good form, stood a hard drive resolutely and, finishing fast, would have won In anotlmr stride Calita closed a big gap and finished fast. Bon Vivant tired badly in the final drive. Edwin T. Frver had a rough trip and can do much better. Avendow ran poorly and had no mishaps. Bitter Anne was almost thrown at the half and Boland had to pull her up. Ben Shaw ran a good race and stood a hard drive gamely, but was not good enough. Missouri Lad came from a long way back after overcoming a lot of Interference and ran a winning race. Veto quit badly after going a good three-quarters. Dr. Heard was badly himdled and can do much better. Ternus had a rough trip and had to go wide most of the way. Lustig was also away poorly.
