GOOD RACING IS EXPECTED AT HELENA. Helena, Mont., September 18. The three stakes for running horses to be decided at the Montana, State Fair, October 1 to 6, have filled beyond all expectation. The Helena Handicap, ,000, one and a quarter miles, the Mountain Stakes, ,000. one mile, and the Henry A. Meyer Hotel Stakes for 00 have an average number each of eight entries, and among them are some of the best horses In the northwest. Di fact, these races drew from California, Oregon and Colorado. The program, as now arranged, calls for two harness races and three running races each day. In addition to the 1b the cowboy relay race for ,000, which Is attracting more attention and bringing more entries than was thought possible at the announcement of the race.
