French Nun, away well and running to her best form, was always in forward contention and, after wearng down Miss Anxious in the stretch, came away and won as her rider pleased. The Pet, hard ridden all the way, closed up ground rapidly and, finishing fast, outstayed Dresden. The latter also ran a good rac." and, better handled, would have been second. Mum quit badly in the last quarter. Miss Anxious showed thu most early speed, but tired after going a half. The Thrall closed a big gap from a slow beginning. Yo San showed a brief flash of speed. Still Alarm was away fully in motion and, showing the most speed and improved form, won all the way and Tvas never seriously menaced. Zipango ran a good race and always held second place safe. Plausible was given a poor ride, but finished with a belated rush and can do better. Anna Ruskin was a contender in the early stages, but tired fast after going a half. Don Domo, away well and given a good ride, was saved from the early pace and, when called on. assumed the lead in a flash and, standing a hard drive through the stretch, outlasted Phalanx. The latter, away in a tangle and going wide most of the way, ran a good race and should have won. Butinskie showed improved form and put up a good effort under skillful handling. Mamie Algol began slowly and, under a hard drive, closed a big gap and would have been third in a few. more strides. Roscoe tired badly after going a half and ran a poor race. Alcor had no mishaps. Belleview, running In suddenly improved form, followed the leaders close up in the early stages and, finishing with a rush, won drawing away. Easy Street, probably best, was taken the longest way and given a poor ride. Talamund began slowly, but closed a big gap steadily and, going well at the end, outgamed Ezra for third place. Ezra forced the pace in the early stages, but tired slightly near the end as if short. Prince of Pless, away poorly, raced Into contention, but tired after going three-quarters. Precious Stone ran a bad race under poor handling and can do much better, Overweights Belleview, 3 pounds; Talamund, 2J.
