TRAINERS SAY SALVIDERE IS NOT SOUND. "Trainers assert that Salvldere is not thoroughly sound," says the New York World. "It is true that his legs show the marks of the Airing irons; that his ankles seem a trifle gummy juid that he lias tender feet, but with all these drawbacks he is nevertheless a high-class racehorse. He possesses in a high degree the two essential qualifications of a champion speed and endurance."
