MRS. LANGTRY SUCCESSFUL IN RACING. Mrs. Langtry, who has just arrived In this country for her first plunge into vaudeville, still owns a successful racing stable in England, and Is keenly interested in the American turf, and regrets her Inability to see any racing here during her stay. "The day I left England," she said recently, "my three-year-old mare Aurina, by my own Aurum, won the 2,000-gulnea Prince Edward Handicap. Had I been there I should have wagered on the result, and -as the odds were 8 to 1, I feel that I am out at least 0,000, but I accept the victory as a good omen for my trip. "I have a capital private trainer In Billy Donahue, the American jockey who rode so many winners In the days of Garrison, McLaughlin and Isaac Murphy, I have ten horses in training at my stables a few-miles outside of Newmarket, and I shall not leave America until I have bought several American yearlings and added them to my Newmarket possessions. I claim to be quite a cosmopolitan in my racing establishment, as I have two Australian stallions, an American trainer and an Austrian jockey, and shall acquire a number of American-bred yearlings."
