NOTES OF THE TURF. John Greener, the Tennessee turfman, Is in the east to see a bit of the racing. Starter Dade is not having the success at the barrier just now that marked his debut at Brighton Beach- in the summer. Win or lose the Brighton Cup tomorrow, "Whltey" Langdon announces that he will sell Flip Flap by auction during .tlfeBelmont Park meeting. E. C. Cowdin, of Mtxico, N. Y., has purchased of Sanford Lyne the yearling bay filly, by Deceiver-Statuette. This filly took the premium for fillies of her age at the Lexington Fair. Miss Ogden will be raced at New Orleans during the winter. She Is owned by G. A. Bronder, an electrical engineer In New York, who, a few days before she graduated from the ranks of the maidens at Brighton Beach, turned her over to John Harding to train.
