MAINTENON TRIUMPHS AGAIN. W. K. Vanderbilts Mattitcnon won the last great race of the season in France at Longchamps Sunday afternoon, the Prix du Conseil Municipal, of 0,000, beating J. Lieuxs Punta Gorda by three-quarters of a length. C. Vagliauos Montlieu was third. There were ten starters. The superb weather attracted an enormous and brilliant gathering of an international character to witness the meeting of the champions owned by American, English and French sportsmen Maintenon, Bachelors Button and Eunta Gorda. Maintenon easily disposed of his rivals and led throughout the race.
