NOTES OF THE TURF. Inflexible has been shipped to California. Ho will do stud duty at W. QB. Macdonoughs Menlo Park Farm. Nealon will not race during the winter. He will be turned out at Barney Schrelber3 farm in Missouri. T. S. Martin, winner of the Harbor Hill Cup Steeplechase, gets his name froni the junior United States Senator from Virginia. Agent was not a starter in the Champion Steeplechase yesterday because ho struck himself while schooling Thursday morning. During the meeting just closed at Belmont Park seventeen races at oho mile were run. Thirteen of them were faster than 1:40. The fastest was Wes l:37g. The slowest was Winning Haiids-l:41. The average time for the seventeen miles was 1:S9.
