Hereafter showed a high lligut of speed, but tired in the last quarter. Captain Hale ran a good half before tiring. Miss Martha closed up a big gap in the stretch. Harding ran as if he outclassed the others and was never fully extended to win. Salvage, showing suddenly improved form, forced a fast pace and hung on gamely in the stretch drive. Lady Carol was badly ridden, came with a belated .rush through the stretch and got up in the final strides for third place. Aurocelver showed the most early speed, nut tired in the last quarter and will improve. Governor Orroan quit after going a good half. Lieutenant Rice will improve over his running of today. Funiculaire, away poorly and forced to go around the others in the first half, finished with a rush and was probably best. Pretension, in his present good form, ran as if he outclassed the others, was away well in motion and, showing the most speed, took a long lead at once and was never seriously in danger of defeat, winning with plenty in resarve. Hannibal Bey put up a good performance and was a sharp factor, but was not good enough at the weights to beat the winner. Tartan came from a long way back in the stretch, finished with a rush and will improve. Dolinda tired after going three-quarters. Wexford can do much better and was given a listless ride. Zlpango was close up in the early stages, but suffered slight interference at the half, then came fast after saving ground when turning into the stretch, but was not good enougli to beat the winner. Electorlne ran fairly well and outstayed Light Wool in the final drive. The latter closed a big gap in the drive through the stretch. Camp tired fast after going a half. Auditor was benefited by a good ride and send-off, took a long lead at once and, showing a keen flight of tpeed, led by a wide margin throughout and won well in hand. Oratorlan ran consistently; was a forward contender all the way and finished out the final furlong going fast and gamely. Golden Mineral had bad racing luck in the early stages and closed a big gap in the last half. Colonel Bartlett, away in a tangle, ran into a contending position after traversing a half, but tired badly and can do better. Anna Day was prominent for a half only. Mamie Algol trailed the others far back and closed a gap in the run through the stretch. Sallie B. B. fell away fast after going a half.
