WANTS HIS BOYS TO BE FARMERS. New York, October 20. John Burns, the Canadian farmer, who is the father of jockey Tommy Burns, now riding In France, is again objecting to the plans of his wife and elder son to have the boys Guy and Willie Burns become professional riders. Tommy Burns is at present the guardian of his younger brothers. The fattier has asked the Surrogate iu Brooklyn to transfer the guardianship from Tommy to him. He wants the boys to become farmers. The Surrogate has taken the matter under consideration.
