STATISTICS OF THE JAMAICA MEETING. In the course of the eleven days of the. recent Jamaica meeting sixty-eight races were run and the goodly sum of 1906.sh9,090 was distributed among ninety-six winning owners. Of the owners forty-one were winners of 00 or more and fifty-five gathered lesser amounts. It was pretty close between F. Burlew, J. L. McGInnis nnd C. D. Sullivan for the position of leading winning owner, but Burlew won out by the narrow margin of 5 more than McGInnis and 20 more than Sullivan. Coulter 1 0 0 700 With but one race won Bclmere tops the list of winning horses because of his success in the Plerre-pont Handicap, the most valuable stake race of the meeting.. Taking the Lynbrook and Renisen Handicaps gave the Improving two-year-old Frank Gill second place in the honor list, the useful, racer Rye cpmlng third. In races won Rye and Lotus led with three each. Frank Gill, Oraculuni, Tommy Waddell, Cora Price, Cressina, Bragg and Macy Jr. each won two races. No other horse won more, than one. Miller, as usual, led by a wide margin and in the course of the meeting passed Hlldebrands record of races won besides achieving a percentage of the Tod Sloan order. Next to him little Notter distinguished himself, riding with such success and confidence as to suggest a new star of the saddle for next year. Garner, Radtke, W. Knapp, Shaw and J. Martin fared poorly, Radtke coming In for a suspension that at one time had the appearance of exeiitdlng to revocation of his license. James Hennessey and Sewell rode fairly well.
