RYE WILL WINTER IN CONNECTICUT. New York, November 5. After the conclusion of the Aqueduct meeting Rye will be turned over to John Hynes and sent into well earne"d winter retirement at Hynes Connecticut farm. llyhes promises to bring him to the races next spriug in first-class condition. Rye will probably begin his four-year-old career at Aqueduct in April. He ran his first three-year-old race at the Queens County track last April. He Is in the Woodmere, Roslyn, Bay view. Stony Brook and Nassau Stakes yet to be nui at Aqueduct. He cannot fill all these dates, of course, because to do so he would have to run too many times a week. But ho will start in the Important stakes. Rye will take into retirement a reputation for courage and consistency few horses can boast of.
