Winrune Ways showed the most speed all the way and, under a drive from the head of the stretch home, outgamed Lady Vincent under a good ride by Coane. Lady Vincent was a strenuous and game second from start to finish. Betsy Binford had no mishaps, was in a good position all the way and at the end had all sli.? could do to hold third place. High Jumper finished fast. Town Topics ran a fairly good race under a weak ride. Landslide II. showed speed, hu; failed to stay. Nibllek was always forward in the running, stood the stretch drive well and outgamed Anna Smith through the lat hundred yards. The latter was in a forward position all the way and ran well, but tired near the end. Kilts ran a good race and will improve, but was out to the last ounce to stall off Jack Adams and evidently was short. Israelite Vras leading in the stretch when he fell and Gunston went over li!in. Won easily; second the same. Reidmoore Is in good form, ran in behind Chalfonte to the stretch, then came fast under a hand ride and got up in the last hundred yards to win going away. Chalfonte showed the most early speed, fully ran his race and held on well under punishment. Tavannes finished well and outgamed Sir Caruthers in a drive through the last furlong. The latter ran well to the stretch and tired in the final drive. Ivanhoe is worth remembering in slower company, closed a big gap and finished fast. Ilolloway stumbled right at the si art and unseated his rider, but raced with the others and finished three lengths in front, being- on the outsldp most of the way. The latter was well rated and, when turning into the Hat, appeared the winner, but tired and barely held on long enough to beat My Grace for second plaee. The latter had no mishaps and put np a fast and game performance. Setauket seemingly could not Jump well and showed scant speed. Desio fell early. Sclllae showed speed, hut failed to stav. Orphan Lad proved to be easily best, got away well, raced Lord Boanerges into subjection and, being clear of all Interference, drew far away and won pulled up. Gold Lady ran an excellent race, was jammed back at the start, but worked her way through and on the home turn was in a contending position, then tired and had all she could do to stall off Lord Boanerges. The latter was speedy, held on gamely and was coming again at the end. Lady Vera ran well for a half mile. Eminola was off badly and closed a big gap in the last quarter. No Trumper ran a good, game race, raced Ossineke Into exhaustion and at the end stalled oft Widows Mite in a gamely contested drive. Widows Mite was well handled and saved from the early pace, got through next to the rail in the stretch and, finishing ist and gamely, barely failed to get up. Josle Hampton came vey fast at the end. Arby Van ran a good race and is worth remembering in this same company. Ossineke .showed the most early speed and ran a fast half, but failed to stay. Orlnainme qutt badly.
