WESTERN JOCKEY CLUB ACTION. The stewards of the AVestern Jockey Club were in session yesterday and Secretary Harvey Woodruff furnished the following report of their proceedings: The regular monthly- meeting of the Board of Stewards of the Western Jockey Club was held on Monday, Xoveinlcr T, 1000. In the matter of applications for - reinstatement of horse Bob Curt by M. Shields, nnd W. H. Sperling, trainer, applicants were referred to officials who issued rulings. The following licenses were granted: Apprentices Theodore Koerner, .Tonnte Smith. Apprentice contracts approved A. Blumenthnl, Richard Harris, Harry C. Jones, Jr., Theodore Koerner, Jonnie Smith. Complaint of P. J. Miles against C. Gill relative to horse Platoon was passed to next meeting. Complaint of Mrs. N. A. Johanneson against L. V. Bellew was referred to the parties interested for settlement. Racing dates were allotted the Crescent City Jockey Club for 1900 as follows: November 24 to December S, and December 2-1 to December 31, both inclusive. Racing officials for the Crescent City Jockey Club meetings were approved as follows: Presiding Judge Clarence McDowell. Presiding Steward Frank J. Bryan. Paddock and Patrol Judge J. L. Hall. Starter A. B. Dade. Olerk of Scales John Carey. Entry Clerk Rufus C. Bush. Secretary and Eandicapper yi. Nathanson. C. S. Bush was appointed official steward to represent the Western Jockey Club at these meetings. Physicians and hospital bills amounting to 2.50, account services to jockey C. Morris, injured at Douglas Park Jockey Clnb meeting, were approved and ordered paid. By action of the stewards, all licenses applied for and granted during November and December will be valid until January 1, 190S.
