NOTES OF THE TURF. Acting for August Belmont, trainer John Whalen has sold the two-year-old filly Valley Stream, by Octagon Lady of the Valley to Dan Lynch. Valley Stream has been working well. A. Hamel says he and his partner, Henry Brula-tier, have decided to keep Notasiuga, for the present, at least, and that she will not be sold unless an unexpected sum Is offered for her. Danny Maher. Lucien Lytic anw W. Higgs. the latter one of the topnotchers among the English jockeys, are living together at Newmarket, having leased "Skeets" Martins house while Martin is riding in Austria.
