Sabado had no mishaps and, setting a fast pace throughout, finished gamely. AAine Merchant came from a long way back in the stretch and finished with a rush. Darling Dan ran a good race and only tired in the final strides. Ed Kane was knocked back soon after the start and finished with a great rush through the last furlong. AVater Cooler was hi tight quarters in the last furlong. Katherine Murphy ran a bad race and quit after going three furlongs. The winner, entered for 00. was bid up to ,100 and bought by AV. J.
