Adriana, evidently a good lilly, followed Ainiee C. closely to the stretch, then passed her with a rush iiuil, drawing away fast, won cantering. Ainiee C. set the early pace fast and ran a good race, but readily s-!ieeuiiibed to. the winner. Bouquet closed a big gap, came very fast at the end and would have been second in a few more strides. Dixon Belle ran a good race, but was tiring at the finish. Number One ran In improving, form. Imitator also went well. Night Mist was close up to the stretch, then tired. Prince Hamburg was reserved behind to the stretch and, when Kings Daughter and Zal began to tire, went to the front with a rush and won eased up. Kings Daughter dashed into thttlead at once and raced Zal into defeat, but could not withstand the final rush of the winner. Zal ran lapped on Kings Daughter from the start to midway of the stretch and, although tiring, held on gamely. Callavant showed speed, but tired as if short. Scratched ;!MS2Cairngonn, " 140; 00023 J. Heknows showed .superior early speed and finished out gamely, but tired in the final drive. .Marion Moore was prominent throughout ami hears watching. Thomas Calhoun finished close up. Veil evidently did not like the going. J. C. Core was close up to the stretch, but tired in the stretcli drive. Altuda failed to stay. The other two ran poorly.
