Consideration, after following Cousin Kate closely for the first half, moved up gamely under punishment, raced her into subjection and drew away under a mild drive. Cousin Kate set a fast pace and tired In the final drive, but easily held second place safe. Left Guard, shuttled back after the start, worked his way up on the inside and finished gamely. Snowdrift showed the most early speed and rushed into a long lead, but tired badly from making the pace and just lasted long enough to save second place. Trenct the Mere showed improvement and was In keen contention all the way. Lulu Young ran a dull race and can do much better. Bank Holiday finished gamely. The winner was entered for 00; no bid. Mack, quickest in motion, sprinted away from his opponents in the first quarter and never left the result in doubt. Reside, off tangled up. was in close quarters in the early running and came fast when clear, but had no chance to catch the winner. Nat B., almost knocked down on the first turn, trailed until well mound the stretcli turn, then, came with a belated rush. Little Lighter ran well. Factotum trailed until the stretch was ri-ached, then caught Charlie Gilbert tiring and bad no contention for second place. The latter showed the most early sliced, but was short and tired.
