Hollow had no mishaps and ran fairly well. Darling Dan closed n gap steadily and finished with a rush. Katherine Murphy ran a bad race In going to her liking and tired in the stretch. Red Thistle followed close up from the start and, runinng to his best form, wore down Nedra in the stretch, but had to do bis best at the end. Nedra showed the most early seed, but tired after going a half and then came again and outstayed Bert Osra. The latter closed up ground steadily, but was weakly ridden at the end. Sponge Cake, away slowly, ran a good race and finished fast. Cull had no mishaps. Careless ran poorly. Queen Caroline was given a bad ride and was never prominent. Joe Moser. away fast and running to his best form, went into a long lead at once and, standing a bard drive gamely, always held Hanbridge safe and won well in hand. Hanbridge ran a good race under hl impost, seemingly disliked the going and would have been closer up but for swerving in the stretch. Evelyn S. was best of the others ami moved up gamely in the stretch. Tim Kelly closed a big gap and finished fast. Tackle acted fractiously in the paddock and while going to the post, ran poorly and can da much belter. Marcus Aurelius had no mishaps. Black Dress ran a bad race. Lillle Turner bad no mishaps and was not good enough, but was liest of the others. Envoy was restrained in the early stages and tired fast when called on in the stretch. Bonehrake, poorly ridden, was allowed to trail far back for the first half and was taken wide, but finished fast. Demo tired in the last quarter. Kern, away poorly, was a oistant last all the way. Lucy Young tired badly after showing the most speed for a half. The winner was entered for 00; no bid. Minos showed much the most speed for three-quarters and tired fast in the stretch drive, but held on gamely. Tinker, poorly ridden, ran a good race and should have been much closer up. Great showed Improvement and was probably favored by the going. Henry O. tired in the stretch run. Skirvin was caught napping on Dele Strome and was of little aid to her, but she ran a winning race from where she got off. Charlatan can do much better and ran far below his liest form.
