RED BONNET TO MAKE HER DEBUT. Bed Bonnet, the chestnut filly by St. Simonian Beckon, which is carded to make her first start in the sixth race at Brighton Beach today, was bred by the late Captain S. S. Brown at Senorita Stud in Kentucky, and was sold by auction as a yearling to James B. Keene September 4 last for ?C,000. She is a half-sister to Accountant, winner of nine races and ?So,G70 as a three-year-old last year, Compute, Sam Phillips, Odd, Bcckoner, Calculation and Estimate. Beckon, the dam, won thirty-three races in four seasons. Bed Bonnet was the fourth highest priced yearling filly of 100G. The three that, sold over her were Bonnie Star, by Star Shoot Bonnie Blue II., which went to H. P. Whitney for 0,000; Desirous, IVy Hamburg-Clementina, to A. J. Joyner for 0,000, and Spar-ker, by Star Buby Fusee, to A. J. Joyner for ?G,o00.
